Rock Katnic was born Radojica Katnic in Podgorica, Montenegro, and arrived in New York in 2013. He took a job as a moving helper, then spent the next several years working through nearly every job in the trade, team leader, driver, dispatcher, general manager, and in 2019 he founded Perfect Moving & Storage, the company behind Perfect Storage. Today he runs real storage warehouses in Queens and the Bronx alongside a full moving operation, which is where his point of view on storage comes from: he has watched New Yorkers haul their belongings out to a padlocked unit they will rarely visit again, and he thinks that model has it backward. Perfect Storage is his answer, storage that picks up, keeps, and redelivers, so you never visit a unit at all. He built the company on two principles, complete integrity with customers and treating a team that comes from nine countries like his own family.
